had a busy week LAST WEEK.
WEDNESDAY 21st November 2007we brought our boats to lower seletar.didn't have time to train. so after shifting the boats to lsrput it in the shed then weigh the boats and all. then coach announced who will be participating in POL-ITE. then went home straight after that to eat and all. then rest early. cause there is training the next day.THURSDAY 22nd November 2007had training in the evening at lsr cause the boats are already there.then did our training sets except abit different.we get to use shorter paddles cause coach borrowed paddles from ACJC ppl and MJC pplso the girls get to use shorter paddles. then weigh our boats again to see if we needed to put weights after everything then headed back with bob, hairul and bryan cause darling went to meet his friends for dinner. FRIDAY 23rd November 2007had training as usual. did some land stroking and rotation, warm upthen headed for water training. did 2km easy paddle with 10-20-10 and 6-10 in between.then did 1*500 paddling without bursting.then after that did rolling in paddling. 30 strokes long hard pull then start bursting.after everything did some admin stuffs again.so that we wont be so busy on sat.then headed to darling's place first then headed home cause darling comin to my hse to stay over.SATURDAY 24th November2007
THIS is the day that we, RPcanoeist have been waiting for. POL-ITE.
woke up at 6 got prepared and all. then headed to LSR
check on our boats and all. then did warm up , same as friday's
then after that went for water warm up then kengwi breif us a little
changed into our dry clothings and had some rest.
my first race was at 0950. WK1 heats 2. lane 1.came in 3rd with timing 2:48 was a little disappointed because kengwi told me if i could,
i should go to finals straight so that it wouldn't waste my energy going to semi finals.
but nvm, i went to the semi finals with my competitors, 1 from SP and 1 from TP
second race at 1135 WK1 Semi-finals lane 1. before my race, micheal told me your land represents your position.
he motivated me to do my best.
came in 1st for semi finals with timing 2:47 and went into finals which in at 1410.
last and final race WK1 Finals lane 6before this race, kengwi spoke to us about our finals.
he told me that i should not get any lower then 4th placing.
was kind of nervous because i know where i stand after looking at the timings.
but nevertheless, i manage to
come in 4th placing with timing 2:46though i didn't mange to get any COOKIES. but was happy because my timing improved.
and i was at least able to go up till the Finals.
after everything went for the prize presentation
overall champions.
BOYS got 3rd and
GIRLS got 2ndthen headed to clear the shed and bring back the boats to mac ritchie.
put the boats into the shed, went to shower and headed to J8 mac.
had lots of laughter at mac. hahahha.
then looked for kevin and then headed home before going to darling's place.
reached his place showered agian then headed to bed.
was freaking tired. hees.
all in all. we got
5 gold- WT1,Qifang - WK1, Lala - WK2, Lala and Qifang - MT1, Kenneth1 silver- MK1, Hanting1 bronze - WT2, Shi min and Joanne SUNDAY 25th November 2007slept till 9+ woke up and watched movie. hees. then went back slp still 12 plus. then ate and headed to my hse to change up and meet up wit adeline they all at MS. walked around. darling got his levis jeans. then after than went to yuki and yaki to eat. and we played with the DIY ice cream .hahaha. then headed to darling's place cause his mummy's birthday. but we were late =(then was really tired .then his sister send me home and then send darling back.headed to bed after packing all my stuffs.
